Airbus Blue Condor – Test flight with neoxidgroup H₂ sensors

The modified glider at the heart of Airbus UpNext‘s Blue Condor hydrogen contrail experiment has successfully completed its first hydrogen-powered flight – over Nevada (USA) with reliable support from our Hsensors.

This flight marks a milestone: for the first time, Airbus used hydrogen as its sole fuel source. It also marks the start of a comprehensive test campaign that will culminate in a contrail measurement mission.

We are proud to be part of this pioneering project and wish the team continued success on their journey towards more efficient, low-emission aviation!
